Sally made it very clear that she wanted all her friends to celebrate her life. Her positive attitude, her inspiration, her caring and her sharing approach, all went to make that request an undeniable and hard to resist invitation for everyone to have a jolly good time on the 31st March 2015.

And Sally wanted as many people as possible to attend her day. Never short of friends, it was always going to be a time for people to get together, have a chat, laugh a lot, meet new people, put faces to names, and to generally celebrate her life. Sally got her wish. Literally dozens if not hundreds of people lined the room for the service.

Sally’s cheery personality inspired the theme throughout the day, and she was adamant that people shouldn’t wear black, so it was great to see people dressed in bright smiley clothes, And the sun shine was wonderful. For people getting home late, you might have noticed the stars shining brightly. One in particular lit up the sky.

Sally was so well cared for by the Woking Hospice during her time there, and she wanted any donations to go directly to them.
